Women Entrepreneur of the Year Awards

Maria De Nardi of Mondo Food Co. Ltd. received the Lifetime Achievement award, Mariette DeGagne of Varitech Systems Inc. received the Building Business award and Terry Sakiyama from the Patal Vocational Prepartion Schools Ltd. received the Contribution to Community award.
Other recipients include Doreen Gauthier from Make it Home Ltd., who received the Home Enterprise award; Johanna Hurme from 5468796 architecture inc. received the Emerging Business award, and Deanna Pentland from FittWell Cente received an award for Excellence in Service.
The Impact on Local Economy award was given to Cheryl Baynton of Pantages on Park, the International Trade award was awarded to Katherine Devine of kisquared, and Brenda Parr of Sylvan Learning Centre took home the Franchisee award.
