The store, which opens May 29, is more than 5,000 square feet of beauty eye candy, offering all the brands raving Sephora fans have been looking forward to. Winnipeg Women Magazine recently sat down with Sephora Canada’s vice-president Marie-Christine Marchives to talk about the new store opening at Polo Park Shopping Centre.

For those who aren’t already acquainted, Marchives says the Sephora experience is all about allowing customers the freedom to choose. The store carries more than 200 brands of makeup and skincare lines—many of which you can’t currently get in the city. Customers will be offered an interactive experience with huge display areas of products to test out and play with at the new store. If you need more guidance, Sephora also has thoroughly educated staff on hand who can help you with all your skincare, scent and makeup questions and needs.

Summer Brights

What’s hot for summer? Marchives gave us the scoop on makeup trends for the season. She says it’s all about bright colours. “A lot of blues for the eyes, and turquoise,” she says. Other bright-hot colour trends include coral for lips and a sunny yellow for nails.

I Just Can’t Live Without…

Surrounded by amazing beauty products each day, choosing a favourite would be seemingly impossible, but we asked: what is one product Marchives just couldn’t live without? Her answer: Dior’s DiorShow mascara.
