When Winnipeg Women set out to find your answers to the question “What is beauty?” we were not prepared for the many varied and heartfelt responses we would receive. Three years in, the stories of the women nominated still humble our staff and judges. The contest celebrates the beauty of women who positively influence those around them through their everyday actions. Thank you to all who wrote such glowing nominations of friends, colleagues and relatives and to those nominated for making such a profound impact on the lives of others. This year’s winners exemplify beauty in courage, strength, grace, perseverance and generosity. Each one is a role model for us all.
