IT'S FINALLY SPRING and for many of use that means taking stock and cleaning house. For some that translates into packing up the old boots and coats from the closet and pulling out some brighter, fresher fare, like the adorable rain boots and colourful umbrellas seen in this issue’s fashion feature. For others it means finally tackling that home renovation that you just couldn’t be bothered with during the long winter months. If you’re starting at ground level and thinking of redoing your floors, we’ve got some expert advice, starting on page 27. And then there are those of us who see spring as a time to take a long look at our own health and happiness.

On the health care front this issue includes information on the latest craze of body cleanses and facts all women should know about osteoporosis. We also spent a lot of time thinking about personal happiness, asking the question: what can we do to make ourselves happy? It’s for this reason that we include information on some of our favourite indulgences. Love to curl up with a book? Try out Cherry Karpyshin’s picks in this issue’s Well Read feature. Feel the need to be pampered? We highlight some of the most unique spa services available around town. Want to give in to a craving? We sent writer (and admitted sweet tooth) Carly Peters out to taste test the city’s most decadent desserts. Her top choices are all here for you to read about and salivate over.

If you have any suggestions for upcoming issues, I would love to hear from you. Please feel free to send me an email. Enjoy!
