Women of Note - Summer 2011
Written by Admin
Each issue we honour some of the Manitoban women who are making a difference in our community and around the world.
On May 12, four women were awarded the Order of Manitoba from Lt.-Gov. Philip S. Lee in a ceremony at the Manitoba Legislative Building. The province’s highest honour, it recognizes individuals who have demonstrated “excellence and achievement in any field of endeavour, benefiting in an outstanding manner the social, cultural or economic well-being of Manitoba and its residents.”
