• Portage Place is also offering safe trick-or-treating from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Halloween. Children in costume can trick or treat at participating merchants throughout the shopping centre. www.portageplace.mb.ca
• Kildonan Place is handing out free treats on the Friday before Halloween (Oct.29). www.kildonanplace.com
• Kids can trick or treat down the pumpkin-lined trails of FortWhyte Alive from 1p.m. to 4 p.m. on Halloween. Hot chocolate will also be available. Everything is free with regular admission! www.fortwhyte.org
