The Saving Circle

The program which is offered at its satellite Pembina Highway location features a 10-week class on money management and proper saving techniques, accompanied by a unique matching program. For every one dollar saved, the centre triples it. So if a woman wanted to save for a college course, and was able to put away $250, she would be rewarded with $750 in the end.
It's an incredible support that allows women to move forward in life, says FGWRC counselor Sharon Hunter.
