Local cake master Heather Stewart of Lilyfield Cakes and Liz Crawford of Swish Productions have partnered up to bring a little of the ‘Peg city to Tinseltown this awards season. On January 14, the duo, with help from some Hollywood friends, will be holding a reception at the Canadian consulate in Los Angeles as a launch of their Oh Canada Premium Gift Lounge for the Golden Globe Awards—the type of swag event patronized by A-list celebrities and industry insiders. The Lounge will feature booths representing local retailers such as Tiber River Naturals and Dr. Bruce McFarlane demonstrating the Incognito line of braces.
