The Arthritis Society has partnered with the Pan Am Clinic Foundation and the Concordia Hospital Foundation to present Joint Manoeuvres, an exciting evening of music with Chantal Kreviazuk and the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, on Oct. 22, 2010. On Nov. 3, enjoy a fabulous night out at What a Girl Wants, an event celebrating women, health and handbags! The night will feature boutique and designer handbags, silent auction, raffles, giveaways and much more, with all proceeds benefiting the Manitoba chapter of the Canadian Liver Foundation. On Sept. 10, in the magnificent Crystal Ballroom at the Fort Garry Hotel, the fourth annual Fall for Fashion show, featuring glamourous fashions from Danali His and Her Urban Wear, was hosted by Community Living Winnipeg (CLW). The event supported the Among Friends, Advocacy and Family Connections programs and was a phenomenal success. The funds raised allow CLW to be there every day to support people with intellectual disabilities to be fully included and participating in their communities. www.communityliving.com
