Nygårdmania
Clothing tycoon Peter Nygård was back in town on March 29 for the unveiling of his latest retail location at 1626 Kenaston Blvd. A fashion show and reception in the massive 15,000-sq-ft space was attended by local notables including our own Glenn Tinley and wife Lisa (pictured above), MPs Rod Bruinooge and Steven Fletcher and Mayor Katz – who presented Nygård with a key to the city. The store carries all of Nygård’s brands under its roof as well as a coffee bar, tailor, dry cleaner and travel service.
