Get ready to party!

63 communities around Manitoba will be hosting events in community halls and rec centres. Each community hosting a social will keep the funds raised at their own event to be used towards local initiatives.
There will be DJs on hand spinning the greatest social tunes as well as some local entertainers performing in many of the communities. Some of the highlights include Randy Bachman in Brandon, Sierra Noble and Streetheart in Neepawa, and the Dust Rhinos in Dauphin.
A kid’s social will take place at the Manitoba Children’s Museum from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Proceeds from the rainbow auction will be used towards the Under Capital Campaign. The social is free with general admission to the museum, and there wil be games, snacks and teachers from the LA Dance Academy on hand to teach kids a few dance moves.
Winnipeg’s social will take place at the Winnipeg Convention Centre, 375 York Avenue, at 8 p.m. The event is hosted by 99.9 BOB FM’s morning crew, with the proceeds going to the Health Sciences Centre Foundation, the Children’s Hospital Foundation, and Cancer Care Manitoba to revitalize a greenspace called Homecoming Park. Dance the night away to the sounds of Fabulous George and the Zodiacs at 8:45 p.m., Rocky Roletti and the Retro Rhythm Review at 10:15, and That 70's Band at 11:45. Tickets are $15 plus service charges. Special guests include Olympian Cindy Klassen.
